We've not been here since 2003 and wondered if anyone could give us some updates on how things have changed and where best to go for the night life now  Thanks in advance for any replies and we wish everyone on holiday now or due to fly out a very merry hoilday  Cheers, Dave and Ann. |

Our kids have all become adults and no longer holiday with us so I guess we won't be needing the muppets - lol The cocktail bar at the Shipka will be just fine along with a few trips to Varna Once again thanks for your help. (---.bagu.cable.ntl.com) posts : 145 Date : 06-04-08 15:11 hi dave and anne me and wife will be on your flight too were staying in the admiral will be our 8th time i think each year it is getting more comercialised but still plenty to do fishing trip is a great day out they even cook dinner on board bbq lovely lasts about 4 hrs i think, great guinness bar near the eiffel tower effergy, great entertainment all over c u there trev.

Weather was very hot, rained twice for a total of three hours over fourteen days!!!! Prices ranged from 2 to 5 lev for a big beer with many bars offering "Happy Hours" for their beers and cocktails. G Spot on Party Street seemed to offer the best value for money whilst we chatted to people from all over Europe. For a fantastic holiday break we'd recommend the resort of Golden Sands to anyone looking for a chilled fun packed time whilst getting a truly great body tan!!!! The exchange rate in Varna is currently around 2.47 lev to the £. So for those going this weekend or later in the year have a good one guys. Dave n Ann. |
