Plovdiv to Ravda

Plovdiv to Ravda
	Author : Caz (217.33.223.---)  posts : 1363 Date : 05-23-11 11:09 We will be travelling with ryanair(as long as the ash cloud permits) next saturday into Plovdiv and we are planning to hire a car. I am a little nervous of driving in Bulgaria as never done it before. Any advice on who to hire a car from, the route to use and where is a good place to stop would be great.

As to who to hire from I always hire from TS travel. net never had any problems they will meet you at the airport, the people I usually deal with are George or Nick hope this helps any other questions let me know

Can you use that on the way back? I wasnt sure if the cut off could get you to the otherside of the dual carriage way. THe only other issue we had was finding the main road to Bourgas after that we were fine. I am just worried we wil not find the airport on the way back as there are minial signs. Any help eg land marks would be a great help. Going home saturday morning.

	Author : robbiechetristotin (---.bb.sky.com)  posts : 593 Date : 06-02-11 17:54 Hi Caz. glad you made it to Ravda ok. on the way back you have a choice the easiest way I usually find is just to come back up from Ravda to the main road at Masterhaus turn left at the lights heading for Bourgas follow the road through Aheloy bear left over the bridge going towards Nompomue (pomorie0 you pass the salt flats on your left and come to where the road bears left you will see a petrol station on the left follow the road bearing right signposted gyprac (bourgas) you will pass the airport on the right follow the road you come to a large roundabout petrol station on the right follow road to right down past Bourgas mall at main roundabout keep right road marked for Sofia watch signs for Plovdiv main road all the way Hope this helps Robbie
