The FEES HAVE GONE UP 80eu A lot of owners are not paying it. 2. Act 15 & Act 16 will be isued by dec 2011 which meanns you will have to pay council tax (only 11 levs ayear) Act 15 means they can put water to your apt (already have) Act 16 is that Now they can serve food on the complex + you have the right to sell & they will have to update there H/S 3. There was a couple of problems when I was there hope they will be sorted out. I am hoping to go out there again the 1st 2 weeks in sept 2011. CAN EVERY ONE POTITION FOR A FOOD/REST/DRINKS AT THE THE FRONT OF THE POOL . that what is should have been 4. they have stoped the mini bus on our site but not the others PLEASE PROTEST ABOUT THIS AS WELL IF I CAN HELP ANY ONE PLEAE LET ME KNOW KEVIN SD5 ![]() |

I own with other UK,Irish, Russian and Bulgarians, an apartment in Pamporovo Palace (nr Ski Stn 1) fabulous place and great position - shame about the management. It got so bad - as we were being ripped off by the developer/management that this year we revolted (no puns please) and the owners formed a "Pamporovo Palace Owners Association" now a legal entity in Bulgaria where we now run it ourselves, collect the fees, pay the staff and bills - and its great! I just wonder why others have not done it this way. We have our own web site where we post accounts talk to each other and sort out our own problems. If there are any owners who are in a similar situation to how we were, feel free to get in touch and will be happy to tell the full story and maybe others can resolve the misery of owning an apartment - we are now a much happier bunch of owners knowing we cannot be ripped off any more! This has been copied and pasted off the ski bulgaria site and i wondered if it would be of any assistance to you guys there is also an e mail address if you want more info from the guy. Bulgarian VAT is 20% - and now the payments are being sent to a Bulgarian VAT registered company instead of an offshore company (where payments were sent before the rise). So, AG are not technically receiving any more than they did previously. I feel 480 euro is crazy as there are no facilities apart from a pool, bit of grass and lets face is 24 hr security costs nothing when split between 300 apartments. I have a small studio, and 480 EUR is crazy amount to pay for that. Not a happy Sunny Day 5 owner! Regards Brad |

However when it came time to leave I was asked for a further 40lev to cover the electricy & water for the general areas over the winter months. I was told that the annual maintenance did not cover this. I have never been asked for this before, and refused to pay it before I left. Have you ever heard of this before ? Jacqui |

Yavor took the elec & water figures & calculated that I owed 36lev for the flat utilities. He said I needed to pay a further 40 lev for the general area, said they charge 4 lev a month and assume people will not be there for 10 months of the year, therefore I needed to put 40 lev in the fund to cover these months.
