(---.lns5-c10.dsl.pol.co.uk) posts : 425 Date : 05-14-08 17:55 Pauline, your flight is still looking direct, new for my news, I received an e-mail from a learned friend in Bulgaria, to tell me that my Hotel was not going to open until 1st June (I go 21st May), so I rang Balkan they denied all knowledge, so I put an e-mail to them quoting a website that has been showing Hotel would not be opening until 1st June, I told them I had info as to where I was going to be placed. I gave them 48 hours to come back to me with it in writing that my facts were true and that they were waiting until I arrived at Varna and then be told. I also pointed out to them that the photo in brochure Gergana complex in Albena to be completely wrong (Hotels shown are the Boryana,Nona and Elitza). e-mail arrived today to confirm the Hotels name and that I would get exactly as per my Old Hotel, half board and Balcony and no supplement for room. I have been upgraded to 4* and would have cost me another £185 for 2 weeks, had I booked this hotel originally. I have sent a letter to Balkan saying I am at such short notice taking this change under duress, should things not turn out right. Cheers. F.V. |
