If bernie ever said that bulgaria was to host an F1 race what streets do you think it would be best held on.

I think around the bottom road over old nessebar winding around being averlooked by the cafes, with all boats around the waters edge. then across the causway into the newpart before a u turn back to old nessebar.

Last year when we were in Bulgaria, the causeway into Nessebar was closed by the police . We sat in a taxi and watched a film been shot there. It was a car chase and Nick you are right it looked great and would indeed be a great spot for F1 Smile

I'd go with the road between Kazanlak over the mountain to Gabrovo, plenty of tight bends and steep drops, that would sort out the men from the boys.

WL,
Yes thats the one, we drove over it a few years ago and i was in the back seat of an old skoda and i seem to remember every corner we turned a big bloody lorry would be coming towards us and if we moved over to let them by there was a great big drop on the other side, i was a nervous wreck when we got there.

Know what you mean John S. I always drive, feel safer then and let the OH do the map reading as he can understand a bit of the cyrillic. Must agree a rather scarey route though.

interestingly (or not) there is a market in Glasgow, in the Gallowgate not far from Celtic park called Shipka pass CLICK, it's a really weird market indeed, The parkies may be familiar with it.

I once heard of a guy who bought a suit there for a fiver and he returned it as there was a hole in one of the pockets.

Live 15 miles from Glasgow in Dumbarton, it's a superb city with some great architecture and history, and it is not full of pretentious prats like a lot of cities in the u.k.
I go to every celtic game so i spend a lot of time in glasgow.
the city has it's social problems and and there is a lot of poverty in areas, but the people will give you the time of day unlike many many places around.

Oh Yes! But the one up (or down) from assenevgrad to chepelare is quite fun, for me anyway, not for Nicky though who has her eyes closed most of the way. 55mins top to bottom is my record lol Very Happy
