11 beaches in Bulgaria received a “Blue Flag”award

The prestigious award is given for quality, cleanness and safety. This year the beaches “Bunite” in Varna and the beaches in Albena, Sunny day, Duni, Elenite, the southern and northern beaches in Sunny beach, “Harmani” in Sozopol, Pomorie – east, the new, the eastern and the central beaches in Sveti Vlas received the award. Yacht marina “Marina Dinevi” in Sveti Vlas also received the award. The beaches are chosen by an international jury. Representatives from the ecology programs and the World Tourism organization. The concept of the Blue Flag was born in France in 1985. The participation in the program is voluntary and the award is given for one season.
