Stewed Vegetables for the Scorpions
The dinner menu of rock dinosaurs Scorpions were stewed Bulgarian vegetables with choice French white and red wines. The Scorpions will throw a grand concert on September 6 at Kavarna, northern Bulgarian Black Sea coast, famous lately as the summer music hub. Klaus Meine, James Kottak, Matthias Jabs and Rudolf Schenker reportedly insisted that their food be cooked with plenty of Bulgarian spices. "Two of the Scorpions are vegetarians and we have prepared a special menu for them," said Tsonko Tsonev, Kavarna mayor. Crowds of fans started arriving for the expected grandiose show at the town stadium and a whole tent camp mashroomed around it. The Scorpions and their manager will land in Varna, major northern Bulgaria Black Sea port, hours before the concert. Kavarna mayor Tsonev will personally welcome them at the airport accompanied by the queen of women's boxing Daisy Lang, known also after her birth name - Dessislava Kirova. She has returned to Bulgaria specially for the Scorpions concert. The band will stay at a hotel in Zlatni Piassatsi (Golden Sands) resort.
