Location
Simeonovo is a beautiful small village with a population of about 100 people. The village is located approximately 15 km from the town of Vidin, 220 km northwest from Sofia and about 20 km from the Romanian and Serbian borders.

You can go fishing with a private boat in the Danube river. In winter the Danube river is the best place for fishing of Beluga Sturgeon. Prapractical and training courses, as well as fishing equipment for rent are offered.
Sport
Several river islands with beautiful sandy beaches are located close to the village of Simeonovo. There can be found numerous river birds – swans, pelicans, cormorants, herons, etc. The islands are easy accessible by boats. The Danube river is suitable for sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, jet skis and water skiing.
Transport
The village of Simeonovo is easily accessible along an asphalted road. There is regular buses to Vidin every 30 minutes. Direct buses to and from Sofia pass through the village several times a day.
