Bulgaria's Tsarevo Hit at Tourism Expo in Belarus
The Bulgarian Black Sea resort of Tsarevo became a hit at the international tourism exhibition in the capital of Belarus Minsk. The interest towards Bulgaria's seaside results on part of the Belarusian citizens and companies was tremendous, burgasinfo.net reported. The Bulgarian representatives had meetings with over twenty tourist agencies in Minsk thus hoping to attract a large number of tourists from the former Soviet republic. "The Tsarevo Municipality can establish itself as a tourist destination and to be advertised more successfully in Belarus. It will probably start a partnership with Minsk because it is very hard to enter tourist markets where another Bulgarian resort has already established itself," said Anzhelina Puleva, a tourism expert from Tsarevo. In her words, the main problem for Belarusian tourists coming to Bulgaria is the visas, which cost EUR 60 plus another EUR 40 they had to pay for Romanian transit visas, thus making their holiday more expensive.
